Librarianship as a Career

My capstone project involved creating a guide and video series aimed at undergraduate students to help answer frequently asked questions about entering the field of librarianship. The goal is to demystify the process and encourage students from diverse backgrounds to consider librarianship as a career.

Putting the “Us” in Inclusive: How UT Libraries staff worked together to ensure inclusive teaching practices

 Discussion series and Conference Panel

Designed and moderated a discussion series for UT librarians about difficult conversations in a library instruction setting.

Conducted research on library instruction policies at UT and peer institutions. Helped write a conference proposal that was accepted and given at 2021 GAILS Conference and TLA District 3 conference.

Native Futures

Book Display

Researched the Native Futurism movement in literature and designed a book display for UT libraries. Selected and purchased new books to bolster the collection. Created promotional materials to be displayed along with the presented books.
